Hi I’m Dakota the creator of Kodacuts. The collages I make are all made from thrifted material that is then hand cut and paste. Much of my work is inspired by my home of Ucluelet, BC. Its PNW with a whimsical twist.

I began the collage journey many years back as a stress and anxiety release during a time of financial and emotional lows. It was my escape, creating these fantastical little worlds. My work is an interplay between new and old, reality and fantasy alluding to childlike whimsy and feelings of nostalgia that remains ever present on today’s hyper-capitalistic world. My work brings in strong feminine symbols and the femme connections with nature.

My work has been commissioned for company branding, event posters, and private collectors.
